Healthy Action to Benefit Independence and Thinking (HABIT)Mayo Clinic Rochester Department of Psychology and Psychiatry offers HABIT –Healthy Actions to Benefit Independence and Thinking, a 10-day Brain & Body Wellness Program for persons with Mild Cognitive Impairment. Participants in the program learn and practice compensatory strategies for cognitive changes as well as habits for overall health. Persons with mild cognitive impairment and their program partner participate in structured programming around 5 areas of overall wellness: Memory compensation training, brain fitness, group therapy, mind-body therapies, and wellness education. The program is offered on the Mayo Clinic campus in Rochester, Minnesota. Overnight accommodations can be made for persons living outside of the area.
