Memory ClubMemory Club is for persons with early memory loss or early stage dementia as well as their care partner. Memory Club is a comprehensive support, education, and peer group that meets for a total of 10 sessions. The mission of the Memory Club is to support and empower individuals and care partners as they deal with mild memory changes due to mild cognitive impairment or early stage Alzheimer’s disease. Memory Club sheds light on important issues such as understanding memory loss, emotional and psychological reactions to a diagnosis, adjusting to changes in roles and relationships, and practical planning for the future. The Club fosters an atmosphere that nurtures new friendships and peer support during and beyond the group experience. Memory Club begins May 17th. A pre-program interview is required prior to beginning. LocationAssisi Heights Conference Center ContactGerise Thompson |
