Laboratory Facilities

The laboratory of Dr. Farrugia is fully equipped for whole-tissue, single-cell and single-channel electrophysiology; fixed- and live-cell imaging; molecular biology; and cell cultures. Additionally, the lab has access to an extensive amount of cores (must be logged in to the Mayo network to access) that support research at Mayo Clinic.

These cores include support for genome, transcriptome and proteome analysis; equipment for total internal reflection fluorescence (TIRF) microscopy, flow cytometry and cell sorting; biostatistics and bioinformatics; and more.
