Summary

Two types of observational (nonrandomized) studies are of primary interest:

  1. Evaluation of practice innovations using using short-term impact measures.

  2. Community health surveys focused on behavioral risk factors.

Outcome variables include changes in overall self-rated health, physical activity, and body mass index.
