Clinical Profile

Summary

My interests focus on the clinical aspects of inflammatory bowel disease, including ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, ileal pouchitis, and microscopic colitis. I am interested in the natural history, epidemiology, diagnostic studies and medical and surgical therapy of these diseases. The opportunity to collaborate with the Mayo Cancer Center would be in regard to the increased risk of cancer in patients with longstanding inflammatory bowel disease, and due to immune therapy for IBD.
