Analyses of Eosinophilic Inflammation

We have unique reagents and expertise to detect (immunohistochemistry) and to quantitate (RIA and ELISA) several eosinophil granule proteins in various tissues and fluid extracts. These capabilities are used in collaborations with clinical research efforts at Mayo Clinic Rochester and elsewhere. In a current clinical trial of eosinophilic esophagitis we are examining and analyzing tissue and fluid specimens. In vitro studies also include kallikrein and LacCer investigations.
