Department of Anatomy Today
Stabile Building FacilitiesSince July 2000, the Department of Anatomy has been located on the 9th floor of the Stabile building on the downtown Rochester Mayo campus. The facility accommodates classes for teaching anatomical science in a variety of courses offered to medical and other health care professional students, residents, and fellows. Students also participate in many research projects with the faculty of Mayo Clinic. EducationWe offer two courses to first year students at Mayo Medical School: Microscopic Anatomy, and Gross and Development Anatomy. These courses are consistently highly rated by the medical students. ResearchWe conduct original research in medical education, including innovative teaching techniques.
