With these clinical decision support tool projects, the laboratory's broad objective is to encourage safe and effective health care processes by delivering subsets of data to clinical providers at the point of need.

This includes embedding timelines and checklists for sepsis and other conditions in smart information appliances, decision-support tools and advanced electronic medical record viewers, such as Ambient Warning and Response Evaluation (AWARE).
