Genomic profiling of human tissues to identify aberrant signaling pathwaysUsing patient derived normal and tumor tissues, we have performed whole genome wide expression analysis to identify genes aberrantly regulated in cancers. We have focused upon renal cell carcinoma and thyroid cancer histological subtypes. identification of aberrant siganling pathways will allow an understanding of the underlying molecular pathways governing each cancer subtype. Utilizing this information should provide a rationale approach to designing molecule targeted therapies and may lead to personalized medicine of diagnosis and treatment in the near future. |
