Director's Welcome Larry B. Lundy, M.D. Welcome to the Department of Otolaryngology at Mayo Clinic in Florida. I'm proud to provide you with an introduction to one of the top ENT practices in the United States. The Department of Otolaryngology at Mayo Clinic in Florida specializes in advanced diagnosis and surgical treatments, including:
Department surgeons subspecialize in head and neck oncologic surgery, advanced endoscopic sinus surgery, laryngology, neurotologic surgery, and otologic microsurgery. The Crawford Fellowship is designed primarily to mentor non-U.S. trained otolaryngologists. The scope of the fellowship encompasses clinical research in otolaryngology only. There is no direct participation in surgical or nonsurgical patient care. Crawford fellows do have the opportunity to observe practice in all disciplines of otolaryngology. For a motivated, self-sufficient person, the range and number of projects that may be undertaken as a Crawford fellow is extensive.
Whether you pursue a career in academic medicine or go into private practice, we will support you throughout your career. As a Crawford fellow, you'll become a part of the history and heritage of Mayo Clinic. Consider our program and please contact us with specific questions or concerns. Larry B. Lundy, M.D. |
