About Dr. FridleyBrooke L. Fridley, Ph.D., is a researcher in the Division of Biomedical Statistics and Informatics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and an associate professor of biostatistics at the College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic. She received both her master's and Ph.D. degrees in statistics from Iowa State University. After being on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse, Wis., as an assistant professor of statistics (2003-2006), Dr. Fridley joined Mayo Clinic's Division of Biostatistics and Informatics in 2006. In 2008, Dr. Fridley was appointed to a career scientist position as part of the Minnesota Partnership in Biotechnology and Medical Genomics and the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center. Dr. Fridley is actively researching statistical methods for genetic and genomic studies and has collaborated on a broad range of human genetic and pharmacogenomic studies. |
