About Dr. FridleyDr. Brooke L. Fridley is an associate professor of Biostatics in the Department of Health Sciences Research, Division of Biomedical Statistical and Informatics, at the Mayo Clinic. She received both her master's degree and Ph.D. in statistics from the Iowa State University. After being on faculty at the University of Wisconsin — La Crosse as an assistant professor of statistics (2003-2006), Dr. Fridley joined the Mayo Clinic Division of Biostatistics in 2006. In 2008, Dr. Fridley was appointment to a career scientist position as part of the Minnesota Partnership in Biotechnology and Medical Genomics and the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center (MCCC). Dr. Fridley is actively researching statistical methods for genetic and genomic association studies, and has collaborated in a broad range of human genetic and pharmacogenomic studies. |
