MAYO BEHAVIORAL NEUROLOGY/DEMENTIA FELLOWSHIPThe Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville is actively seeking candidates for a one-year (with option for a one-year extension) post-graduate behavioral neurology fellowship in Jacksonville, Fla. Applicants must have completed a neurology residency program and must obtain Florida licensure. The fellowship will be approximately 50 percent clinical practice and 50 percent research, with an opportunity to design one’s own research project and participate in ongoing projects. Collaboration with basic researchers Steven Younkin, M.D. (role of amyloid in Alzheimer’s disease), Michael Hutton, Ph.D. (neurogenetics) and Dennis Dickson, M.D. (neuropathology) is encouraged. Clinical rotations (including electives) include: memory disorder clinic, neuropsychology, neuropathology, speech pathology, as well as rotations to Mayo Clinic Rochester and/or Mayo Clinic Arizona.
