About Dr. Ikeda

During his Ph.D. studies, Dr. Ikeda investigated interspecies transmission of animal viruses and their evolutions in new hosts. He completed postdoctoral training in London, where he worked on basic HIV-1 virology related to host-range restrictions and developed novel lentiviral vectors.
