Subject: IRB Continuing Review

Policy:

It is the policy of Mayo Clinic's Office for Human Research Protection – Institutional Review Board (IRB) – that research activities be periodically reviewed at intervals appropriate to the degree of risk, but not less than once per year, as required by the Federal regulation. ^[1], ^[2], ^[3], ^[4] The criteria for approval will be the same as set forth in IRB Policy III.F. ^[5] The IRB will determine the interval for continuing review of research as set forth in Section III of IRB Policy III.F. ^[6]
