G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) are the central focus of Dr. Miller's laboratory, which has portfolios of projects directed toward the class A cholecystokinin (CCK) receptor and the class B secretin receptor. Dr. Miller's laboratory is experienced in all types of pharmacological, biochemical, cell biological and biophysical approaches to the characterization of GPCR structure, function and regulation. The major impact of this research is on receptor-active drug development.
