About Dr. Misra
I was born in India and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and did the majority of my studies in Philadelphia. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and my Medical degree, from the Drexel University. I have always been interested in understanding why things do not work. I became interested in hemodialysis graft failure because of the lack of understanding of why vascular accesses fail so rapidly. I hope that understanding the mechanisms of hemodialysis graft failure will allow us to develop novel new therapies which can be used to improve vascular access patency in our patients.
