FUNCTIONAL NEURO IMAGING

This project includes the development of pulse sequences for measuring activity of the brain in response to various stimuli, such as excitation of the sensorimotor system. A major focus of this work is in the application to patients with medically intractable epilepsy, specifically to aid the surgeon in presurgical planning. Also, as part of this project, techniques are being developed for prospective (real-time) motion correction.
