Local Health Outreach ProgramMayo Outreach to Students and Teachers (MOST) is a Mayo Clinic organization of physicians, medical students, residents (physicians in training) and other health professionals dedicated to working with young people to promote health and prevent disease. ![]() MOST volunteer speakers are eager to educate young people at the critical period of time when they are forming health habits that may last a lifetime. How to Schedule a MOST PresentationOnline: Presentation Request Form Phone: Call (507) 266-6906 or (800) 848-7853 and leave a message. Please allow three to five business days for the processing of your presentation request. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you by the MOST Program staff. Presentations should be scheduled at least four weeks in advance. For questions, contact the MOST office by phone or e-mail MOST@mayo.edu. MOST TopicsSpeakers from the MOST program speak to youth on health issues that matter: healthy decision-making, responsibility, chemical awareness, tobacco use and mental health. Presentation DetailsSpeakers are available to give presentations to groups of students in Rochester, MN and the surrounding area. The presentations last approximately 50 minutes and are a creative way to promote healthy decision-making. Speakers use a variety of techniques, including student participation, visual aids, activities and discussion. Because of the interactive format, presentations work best with groups of 40 or less. The presentations are age-appropriate. Each presentation is based on the specific learning needs of the class after consultation with the teacher. |
