This is an opportunity for Tobacco Treatment Specialists and other health–care practitioners who are interested in educational sessions via webcasts or conference calls. These sessions will meet the requirements for continuing education hours needed for Mayo Clinic’s Tobacco Treatment Specialist Certification.

Course size is limited.

Continuing Education Hours:

Facilitators:

All facilitators have a wealth of experience in counseling in the Nicotine Dependence Center and hold a minimum of a Master’s level degree. They are all Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialists.

Webcast Courses

This is an opportunity for Tobacco Treatment Specialists and other health–care practitioners who are interested in educational sessions via webcasts.

Cost:

Standard registration – $40.00
Mayo Clinic and Mayo Health System Employees – $30.00

Conference Supervision Calls

This is an opportunity for learners who are interested in a group telephone discussion to explore strategies for tobacco dependence. Key points and/or cases will be sent to participants in advance.

Standard registration – $25.00

Cancellation Policy:

Your registration fee, less a $20 administrative fee, will be refunded when written notification is received by Mayo Clinic Nicotine Education Program at least two weeks prior to the start of the course. You may fax written notification to 507–255–0652. No refunds will be made inside 14 days.
