Human skin fibroblasts were transfected with Caveolin-1-GFP and subsequently incubated without (left panel) or with (right panel) non-fluorescent LacCer. Fluorescence images were acquired every second over a one minute period and rendered as a movie. Note the accelerated movement of Caveolin-1-GFP in the LacCer treated sample.
