SPINE CLINICAL RESEARCHThe Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Spine Center is a multidisciplinary practice that cares for patients with spine related conditions. Although led by members of the Neurology and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation departments, team members include specialists from anesthesiology, radiology, psychiatry, orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery. Spine Center team members collaborate on research related to spinal disorders and their treatment and meet monthly to discuss new and ongoing projects. There are always ongoing clinical trials in which patients may participate. Additionally, some team members conduct basic science research on the spine and spinal disease.
