The Cardiovascular Molecular Imaging laboratory has an opening for a full time Post Doctoral Research Fellow.
The main objective of the study is to elucidate the mechanism that regulates stem cell engraftment and survival in the myocardium, using state-of-the-art molecular imaging.
We are seeking candidates who are interested in conducting and leading experimental studies that will cross the bridge from cell to rodent animal models. The successful candidate should be independent and creative, able to work as part of a group and should have strong written and communication skills. Experience working with small animal models of disease, as well as basic/conceptual knowledge on imaging and a strong interest in stem cell biology will be preferred.
This position is for a minimum period of 2 years.
Qualifications: 1) MD or PhD with background in cell biology and experience working with small animals. 2) Background or knowledge of medicine or physiology.
