Investigator: Carmen Radecki Breitkopf, Ph.D. Associate Professor of Health Services Research

Mayo Clinic Department of Health Sciences Research, Division of Health Care Policy and Research invites applications for a postdoctoral research fellow position. Qualified candidates will have a PhD in the social/behavioral sciences. The research fellow will be encouraged to develop their own areas of interest while contributing to ongoing projects in the areas of health disparities, cancer prevention and research participation decision making. Successful applicants should have excellent writing and communication skills, the ability to work as part of a collaborative team, and demonstrated ability to be self-directed, highly motivated, and industrious. Collaborative manuscript and grant writing, presentation, and data analysis (quantitative and qualitative) opportunities will be available. An individualized mentoring approach will predominate although participation in campus-based educational opportunities at Mayo Clinic Rochester will be encouraged. This is a one-year position, with possible funding for a second year.
