The Proteomics Core at Mayo Clinic occupies a total of 6,298 square feet on the Mayo Clinic campus in Rochester, Minn.

The majority of this space is on the third floor of the Medical Sciences Building. All electrophoresis activities are contained in a 459-square-foot laboratory, while all mass spectrometry-based services and protein purification services are carried out in 3,491 square feet of laboratory space.

On the 16th floor of the Guggenheim Building, the core has a 983-square-foot laboratory in which it performs its peptide synthesis service.

The Proteomics Core's informatics server is located in one of the data centers on Mayo Clinic's Rochester campus. Office space and a meeting room comprise the remaining square footage.
