RCF COMPUTE ENGINEGENERAL INFORMATION In addition to a Beowulf-style Linux cluster, rcfcluster1, the RCF also has a high-powered compute engine called crick. Crick is essentially a very large computer that has much more "horsepower" that a standard desktop system. Mayo investigators can use this compute engine to perform large, processor-intensive computations without taxing the resources in their own workstations. TECHNICAL DETAILS
