Volumetric Imaging for Science Instruction of an Open Nature (VISION)
The goal of the Volumetric Imaging for Science Instruction of an Open Nature [VISION] project is to adapt Analyze for use in both formal and informal science education settings, focusing on the secondary school age group.
In development, the first lesson involves the modeling of neurons in 3-D and exploring the enteric nervous system. The project will produce instructional materials for use in middle schools, high schools, and informal science education centers.
These materials will be used to attract educators and their institutions to the use of Analyze as a tool for open-ended science learning.
