Why is this study being done?

You are being asked to take part in this research study because we are conducting a study to evaluate pain attacks in patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

The purpose of this study is to collect information about patients with IBS and to evaluate characteristics of the pain attack in patients suffering from IBS in Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and USA.

Your physician will record specific information about you and how your disease is managed. This observational study will be performed in 6 countries in Europe and in USA. A team of 7 experts will look at the information to better understand how pain attack is expressed in IBS.

Who is Eligible to Participate in the Study?

Individuals 18 years of age or higher who have been diagnosed with IBS.
