Why is this study being done?

We are currently conducting a clinical trial to determine whether Lyrica may be helpful for patients with IBS. Lyrica is an FDA approved medication that has been shown to help with other medical conditions such as chronic pain disorders including fibromyalgia as well as neuropathic pain. Based on how it works, we think it may affect gut symptoms.
