SummaryMy basic science research interests include the intracellular signaling mechanisms involved in the development and progression of bladder and prostate malignancies. My work in particular focuses on study of the steroid hormone receptor pathways in these cancers, specifically the androgen receptor. Targeting the molecular pathways involved in various stages of cancer, here with the androgen receptor, may allow for the development of novel therapies for patients with these conditions. In addition, I am involved in clinical research activity in the evaluation of outcomes for patients with cancers of the prostate, bladder, and kidney, primarily focusing on patients with high-risk prostate cancer and advanced renal cell carcinoma. It is my belief that critically reviewing and reporting such data will lead to improvements in patient care for the future. Recent publicationsSee a listing of my publications Education
