James D. BuntrockSummaryMr. Buntrock began his professional career as a software developer at Mayo Clinic in 1991. He is currently serving as the section head for Biomedical Informatics Support Systems, supporting software and technology projects for the Department of Health Sciences Research, Advanced Genomics Technology Center, and related research initiatives. Mr. Buntrock has been active in the Cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid Vocabulary and Common Data Elements and Architecture workspaces, the National Center for Biomedical Ontologies, and Health Level Seven Common Terminology Services V2 specification.
