Summary

Education
Dr. Enders teaches approximately three courses per year to medical fellows in the Mayo Graduate School's Clinical and Translational Sciences program. These typically include a first and second course in introductory statistics and regression, as well as an upper level course. Dr. Enders was awarded the Health Sciences Research Distinguished Teaching Award in 2006. Dr. Enders' personal research focuses on statistics education for nonstatisticians; her most recent efforts in this area surround the use of Calibrated Peer Review to help students better interpret linear regression coefficients. Other interests include study designs appropriate for statistics education and methods for assessing agreement.

Evaluation
Dr. Enders serves as the Chair of the Evaluation Committee for the Mayo Clinic Center for Translational Science Activities' (CTSA) educational resource component. This program requires detailed specialized followup of a variety of students (PhD, MS, Certificate, and research coordinator) to assess outcomes and evaluate program success.

Collaborative Research
Dr. Enders collaborates with the Mayo Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. This relationship includes an ongoing clinical trial on the use of high dose ursodeoxycholic acid for the treatment of Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, as well as a wide variety of smaller projects.
