SummaryI have been interested in long-term prospective and retrospective studies to define the characteristics of chronic daily headache in children. The a priori hypothesis is that childhood chronic daily headache syndrome is really a multiple symptom complex that includes more than just the headache symptoms. In order to effectively treat chronic daily headache, one needs to identify and address the symptoms of sleep dysfunction, problems with mood and anxiety, as well as other medical complaints.
