SummaryMy research interests are focused primarily on the application of data analysis methods for observational studies, mainly in the fields of cancer epidemiology and vaccine research. As a consulting statistician, I collaborate with a number of investigators in the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center, with much of my effort directed toward the study of breast, ovarian and colorectal cancer. I also work closely with the Mayo Vaccine Research Group. Current specific research activities include the analysis of genetic association studies (including both candidate gene and genome-wide approaches), the identification and assessment of cancer-related biomarkers, and the development of risk prediction models.
