Clinical Profile

Summary

I have both a clinical and research practice. My clinical practice is focused on HIV and Transplant Infectious Diseases. My research work investigates how HIV and hepatitis C virus (HCV) cause liver disease. Specifically, we are investigating the role of TNF-receptor apoptosis inducing ligand (TRAIL) and hepatocyte apoptosis during co-infection.
