SummaryMy research is focused on alterations of neurochemically defined neuronal groups in the brainstem and hypothalamus controlling homeostasis, in neurodegenerative disorders, such as multiple system atrophy and Lewy body disorders. This is part of a NIH-funded Program Project on Autonomic disorders, and involves close interactions with Dr. Phillip A. Low, Program Director, and Drs. Michael Joyner and Steven Vernino. THis research also involves collaboration with Dr Bradley F. Boeve, M.D.who is a principal coinvestigator of a NIH-funded grant on dementia with Lewy bodies.
