SummaryMy current main research interest is Magnetic Resonance Imaging, with a focus on MR Angiography and 3.0 Tesla clinical imaging. Mayo's 3.0T installation in 1999 represented a pioneering use of high-field MRI for routine clinical use. Other interests include MR fast scanning, RF pulse design for MR pulse sequences, MRI safety, MRI acquisition methods for multi-center studies and trial, and software methods to optimize image quality available from a given MR hardware configuration. Recent projects include the 2004 publication of the "Handbook of MRI Pulse Sequences" with Kevin F. King and Xiaohong Joe Zhou, and MR imaging protocol development for the Alzheimer Disease Neuro Initiative. Recent publicationsSee a listing of my publications Education
