His primary research interests include: 1.) basic studies of the means by which the investigational anticancer agent flavopiridol kills cancer cells, 2.)improving knowledge of how cancer cells develop resistance to cancer therapies (with the goal of overcoming such resistance), 3.)developing innovative clinical trials of flavopiridol and other investigational anticancer agents (with the goal of improving therapies for cancers), and 4.) basic studies of abnormalities associated with ovarian cancer that may lead to discoveries to improve therapy for the disease.
