Summary

Dr. Bower is currently the Chair of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. He has a variety of clinical research interests and areas of expertise, which include the following:

  • Complex open aortic reconstructions
  • Thoracoabdominal, paravisceral, pararenal and infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysms
  • Mesenteric and renal artery disease
  • Treatment of unusual arteriopathies, such as Takayasu's arteritis
  • Treatment of infected aortic grafts
  • Inferior vena cava replacement for malignant or benign conditions
  • Segmental arterial mediolysis
