Summary

Dr. Hangiandreou's current research interests include the physics of ultrasound imaging and velocity measurement, with a focus on functional imaging and quantitative image analysis. Specific areas of current interest include ultrasound strain imaging in breast imaging and musculoskeletal applications, and measurement of vascular parameters such as intima + media thickness. Other research interests include general performance evaluation of medical imaging systems and digital image & information management.
