Summary

Dr. Harris research program is at the intersection of informatics, terminology and classification systems, and patient outcomes. Primary interests include the computer based infrastructure that crosses electronic medical records and data repository developments, and nursing-sensitive/nursing-relevant measures related to inpatient care. Her research exploits the unique research environment at Mayo Clinic including a close interface between practice and research, unique data resources, and interdisciplinary teams; she works closely with individuals from biomedical informatics, nursing, epidemiology, and biostatistics.
