Dr. Maradit Kremers is a clinical epidemiologist with primary interest in pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomics and the inflammatory etiology of atherosclerosis among patients with chronic inflammatory diseases, in particular psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis. Current studies include identification of the magnitude and determinants of the risk of coronary heart disease and heart failure in rheumatoid arthritis, and psoriasis, the role of disease modifying therapy on long-term outcomes in rheumatoid arthritis, and long-term outcomes in polymyalgia rheumatica and giant cell arteritis.
