Xenotransplantation. The principal focus in the preclinical xenotransplantation laboratory, which I direct, is optimization of immunosuppression following xenotransplantation with specific studies on the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of humoral rejection. This program has the world's leading outcomes in cardiac xenotransplantation at the present time.

Mechanisms and prevention of chronic rejection of the heart following transplantation.
