Dr. Qi Qian is a board-certified nephrologist at Mayo Clinic. She is a clinical consultant in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology and Hypertension, and Assistant Professor in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Biomedical Engineering Program. Her areas of interest and expertise include polycystic kidney diseases and their associated vascular complications, renal parenchymal diseases, and hypertension. She is a National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded principal investigator; the major focus of her research group is to study mechanisms underline the development of vascular complications, such as HTN and intracranial aneurysms, associated with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD).
