Significance to patient careDr. Wu's work in neuro-oncology has identified the most important prognostic factors for recurrent glioblastoma multiforme patients. Dr. Wu is the primary statistician for the international randomized phase III trial for grade III malignant glioma patients, which is the largest phase III trial in history for this patient population. As the study enrolls patients from the U.S., Mexico, Canada and 300 institutions from Europe, its results will impact and even alter the clinical practice for this population all over the world.
