Collaboration

Local and collaborative research projects have resulted in 46 peer reviewed publications and nearly 150 national/international presentations. During the most recent funding cycle the Mayo TBIMS participated in three module projects:

• Vocational services in TBI
• PART (participation): A new measure of participation
• Prospective observational study of screening and prophylaxis for deep vein thrombosis (DVT)

In the 2007-2012 funding cycle we are collaborating on the following projects:

• Sexuality after TBI, lead center TIRR, Houston, TX
• Post traumatic headaches, leader center University of Washington, Seattle, WA
• Environmental influences affecting outcomes after TBI, lead center Ohio State University, Columbus, OH
