TITLEMultidisciplinary Training in Experimental Hematology DIRECTORSUMMARYThis multidisciplinary program trains postdoctoral fellows to perform research in the area of experimental hematology. Applicants with the M.D., Ph.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degrees will be recruited, with efforts especially directed toward identifying individuals from underrepresented racial/ethnic groups. The core of this training program is a 2 to 3-year research experience in conjunction with a faculty member performing investigations in the area of myeloid and lymphoid malignancies, cytokine-induced signaling, angiogenesis, coagulation and microcirculation, experimental therapeutics, experimental immunology or clinical epidemiology. This research experience is supplemented by a combination of didactic courses, journal clubs, tutorials, and research seminars.
