Training Grant PositionsTitle Neuro-oncology Director Summary This program prepares physicians and biomedical scientists for independent laboratory investigative careers. It provides the trainee an opportunity to acquire in-depth research experience. Each trainee is expected to complete at least two years of hypothesis-driven research; supplemented by a required core curriculum that provides the optimal training, education and career development. The overriding goals is to develop superbly trained scientists who study the pathogenesis of neuro-oncologic disorders and develop better treatment and prevention strategies for them. Faculty
Eligibility Predoctoral appointees must have received a baccalaureate degree by the beginning date of their NRSA appointment, and be enrolled in Mayo's program leading to a Ph.D. in science. Postdoctoral appointees must have received, as of the beginning date of the NRSA appointment, a Ph.D., M.D. or comparable doctoral degree. Appointees must also be a citizen or non-citizen national of the United States or must have been legally admitted as a permanent resident. |
