The Ultrasound Imaging Laboratory strives to advance ultrasound and acoustic sciences with the primary focus on developing new applications in medical and biological areas. The three pillars of the lab are theoretical studies, experimentation and clinical application development. To achieve these goals the lab utilizes physics, biology, mathematics, engineering and medical sciences.
