About Dr. Westendorf

Dr. Jennifer J. Westendorf completed her B.A. from the University of Minnesota, Morris in 1991 and her Ph.D. from Mayo Graduate School (Biomedical Science–Immunology) in 1996. She performed postdoctoral training with Dr. Scott W. Hiebert at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Vanderbilt University. Dr. Westendorf’s first faculty position was at the University of Minnesota (2000-2007), where she was promoted to associate professor with tenure. In 2007, she returned to Rochester and Mayo Clinic as a senior associate consultant and associate professor in Orthopedics and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Dr. Westendorf has trained three graduate students and four full-time postdoctoral fellows.
