The 20th Annual Mayo Clinic Nicotine Dependence Conference
May 20-21, 2013
The 20th Annual Mayo Clinic Nicotine Dependence Conference will focus on practical issues related to the treatment of tobacco dependence. External and internal speakers will discuss various settings (including hospital and residential) and different types of tobacco products, including water pipes (hookahs), as well as the challenges of working with this population of patients. This year’s conference also features some surprises as the Nicotine Dependence Center celebrates its 25th anniversary.
Physicians, tobacco treatment specialists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists, pharmacists, psychologists, chemical dependency counselors, respiratory therapists, nurses, dental hygienists, social workers and other allied health professionals are invited to attend.
